Description

You must already be familiar with the Fire Cape, as it is the second best-in-slot melee cape in all of OSRS. It is also hard to obtain this cape because one must survive 62 waves of continuous monsters, as well as defeat TzTok-Jad to receive the item as a reward. Requirements for the service:

• 70+ Defense
• 61+ Ranged

You have to show the Fire Cape to the TzHaar-Ket guards to explore further into the city of Mor Ul Rek. Showing the cape to them will not consume the item. However, if you’re willing to enter the Inferno, then you will have to sacrifice it, as it is a one-time fee. Dying below level 20 Wilderness will not make you lose the cape. But if you’re at level 20 or above, without Item Protect on, then the cape will turn into gold coins upon death. A good recommendation is to lock the item by giving 500,000 gold coins to the NPC named Perdu.

Facts

• You can store the Fire Cape either in the cape rock of a costume room or on a cape hanger in an achievement gallery of a POH (Player-Owned House) to show off to your friends that you’ve completed the Fight Caves.
• You can sell the cape to TzHaar-Mej-Jal if you don’t want it, or if you have an extra one to get a chance to obtain the Tzrek-Jad pet or 8,000 Tokkuls.
• The Fire Cape was first worn by the Slayer Master named Nieve.
• It is the only cape, along with Infernal and Infernal Max Cape to have an animated effect in-game.
